Israel issued a set of three stamps on 11 Jun 1974 on the theme of Jewish Art.

1.25 – Moshe Kisling – (1891- 1953) was a Polish born French Painter . His Painting Lady in Blue was painted in 1922. It is held in Tel Aviv Museum.

2.00 – Chana Orloff – 1888-1968 – She was an Israeli art deco and  figurative art sculptor whose work Mother and Child appears on the stamp and is held in Museum of Art En Harod

3.00 -Chaim Soutine – 1893-1943 -He was a Russian-French painter of Jewish origin .His work Girl in Blue appears on the Israel stamps and is held in The Israel Museum Jerusalem.

3 Sh – Milk Gourds- Dried Vegetable ,used for storage, fetching water etc

5 Sh – Cooking Pots- Used for Cooking,storage,drying Fabrics etc

7 Sh – Winnowing Trays- made of doum palm tree-used for Winnowing grain

10 Sh -Reed Baskets -Plaited or woven baskets -used storage,serving,winnowing

Thanjavur or Tanjore is a historic temple town in Tamil Nadu rich for its cultural Heritage. Thanjavur Doll or “Thanjavur Thalai-Atti-Bommai” is atype of traditional Indian Bobble -Head or Roly-Poly toy made of terracota material.Its Centre of Gravity and total weight is concentrated at its bottom most central core all the the time so as to present a dance like continuous movement with slow damping oscillations. Hence it comes back to its normal seating position automatically after being tilted anyway.This doll has secured Geographical indication in the year 2007

A Special cover on Thanjavur Dolls was issued on 03 Sep 2015 during Thanjaipex 2015.

Portugal – Turkey Joint Issue of stamps 2009 – Porcelain Ceramics

Portugal issued a set of two stamps as Joint Issue Stamps between Portugal & Turkey .The Stamps are devoted to old earthenware and ceramics, with blue ornaments characteristics of two countries. The issue coincided with the Visit of Caraco Silva ,President of Portugal to Turkey from 11-15 May 2009  and stamps were issued on 12 May 2009.

One stamp features a Portuguese Ceramic Vase(17th Century) part of the collections on National Museum Machado de Castro ,one of the most important art museums of Portugal located since 1913 in the former Bishop’s Palace in Coimbra.

The second stamp features the Iznik Faience’s Mosque lamp (16th Century) exhibited at Istanbul Archaeological Museum.

A Beautiful FDC with two stamps is listed.
