Operation Badr 1973 was the code name for Egyptian Military Operation to cross the Suez Canal and seize the Bar-Lev line of fortifications on 06 Oct 1973. In conjunction with Syrian attack on Golan Heights, this marked the start of Yom Kippur War. This Suez Crossing surprised the Israelis and is one of the most read and most famous battles ever fought.

Indonesia issued a miniature sheet (Rupiah 10000) on National Stamp Exhibition Panfila Bandung 2013. It featured the Bandung Bridge and a train on the Bridge. The Miniature Sheet was issued on 25 Sep 2013.

0n 26 June 1959, the St Lawrence Seaway was officially opened . Present at the dedication ceremonies held at St-Lambert, Quebec was Queen Elisabeth II, Prince Phillip, President Dwight D Eisenhower and Prime Minister John G Diefenbaker.
St Lawrence is a joint Canada-USA project composed of locks, canals, Channels and hydroelectric power dams. it permits ocean-going vessels to travel from the Atlantic Ocean to the Great Lakes ofNorth America as far inland as the Western end of Lake Superior. The seaway is named after St Lawrence River which flows from Lake Ontario to the Atlantic Ocean.
Canada and USA issued a stamp each on 26 Jun 1984 to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of St Lawrence Seaway. A First Day cover with the Canadian Stamp of 32 cents cancelled at Cornwall and a 20c USA stamp cancelled at New York is listed. The FDC also features photographs of 1959 Inaugural Function
50th Anniversary Royal New Zealand Ballet – Swan Lake Ballet on Stamps
New Zealand issued a set of stamps on 05 Mar 2003 to mark 50th Anniversary of Royal New Zealand Ballet. One of the stamps depicts the Swan Lake Ballet.
Swan lake Ballet was originally composed by a Russian Pyotr IIyich Tchaikovsky in 1875-76. Despite initial failure it is now one of most popular of all Ballets. The scenario,initially in two acts was fashioned from Russian and/or German Folk Tales and tells the story of Odette, A Princess turned into a Swan by an evil sorcerer’s curse.

Blue Wonder Bridge is commonly used name for Loschwitz Bridge in Dresden. It is a cantilever truss bridge over the river Elbe in Saxon Capital Dresden. It connects the residential areas of Blasewitz (left bank) and Loschwitz (right Bank)
The Blue Wonder was completed in 1893 and opened on 15 Jul 1893 as the fifth Dresden Elbe bridge. today it is one of the landmarks of the city and was nominated in 2007 for the award Historic Landmark of Civil Engineering in Germany.
