Stamps on India Themes by other Countries – Russia India Joint Issue
Russia and India jointly issued a set of Stamps on 26 Oct 2017. The Theme of stamps were Folk Dances of Russia (Beryozka Dance) and India (Bhavai Dance).

Bhavai Dance- it is a genre of folk dance popular in Rajasthan.The dance form cosists of veiled women dancers balancing up to seven or nine pitchers as they dance nimbly. The male dancers sing melodious songs and play a number of musical instruments.
Beryozka round dance is one of the famous Russian folk dances. This is an ancient round social Slavonic ritual folk dance .Dancers hold hands and dance in simple steps in a circle and simultaneously squat on a certain beat of music.
