Uniformed Groups in Schools – Stamps of Singapore 2007.
The Formation of the Uniformed Groups for the students in schools aimed to nurture and develop youths into resilient,responsible,compassionate,and protective leaders through fun,meaningful,challenging and comprehensive development programmes,These Uniformed Groups are important platforms for the development of leadership ,character & citizenship in students.
In Singapore there are nine Uniformed Groups. In this colorful set of nine stamps the uniforms and crests of all nine Uniformed Groups in Singapore are proudly featured.
The Nine Uniformed Groups and their respective dates of Formation in Singapore are
1901- National Cadet Corps.
1910- The Singapore Scout Association.
1917-Girl Guides Singapore.
1927-The Girls’ Brigade Singapore.
1930-The Boys’ Brigade Singapore.
1935-St John Ambulance Brigade Singapore.
1952-Red Cross Youth
1959- National Police Cadet Corps.
2005- National Civil Defence Cadet Corps.

Scout Stamps – 75th Anniversary of World Scout Movement.
The World Scout Movement started in 1907. Singapore issued a set of Four stamps on 15 Oct 1982 to commemorate 75th Anniversary of World Scout Movement.A FDC with four stamps is listed in which various scouting activities are shown.
The First National Scout Jamboree of Bangladesh was held at National Scout Training Center at Mouchak Ghazipur from 21 to 29 Jan 1978. A set of three stamps was issued on 22 Jan 1978 to commemorate this event. A FDC with three stamps is listed below.
RISGO Centennial 2013 – International Scout Jamboree Kandy
The most prestigious College of Kandy Dharmaraja College celebrated its Scout Centenary in 2013.The Kandy Dharmaraja Scout Group organised an International Scout gathering “RISGO Centennial -2013” (Rajans International Scout gathering of Centennial -2013). It was held at Lakeview Park International Scout Centre , Kandy.
A Commemorative stamp was issued on 18 Feb 2013 by Sri Lanka. The 25 rupees stamp shows Baden Powell and 500,000 stamps were printed. A FDC issued is listed.
