APS Cover issued on 23 Nov 2019 to commemorate the 60 Glorious Years of No 105 Helicopter Unit. they are Known as “Daring Eagles ” and were raised on 23 Nov 1959 with Bell 47G helicopters. It has operated with MI-4 & MI -8 Helicopters and was presented with President’s Standards in 2009.

APS Cover issued on 17 Oct 2019 to commemorate the Golden Jubilee of 26 Squadron of The Indian Air Force. TheSquadron was raised on 01 Jan 1968. They are known as “Warriors” and took part in 1971 Operations. It was the last Squadron to fly Mig 21 T-96.
Stamps on Indian Military Institutions – NDA Khadakwasla -1999.
The National Defence Academy (NDA) located at Khadakwasla near Pune is one of the first Joint Services Institution in the World to impart combined training to officer cadets of all the three services. Its foundation stone was laid on 06 Oct 1949. Among the Alumni of NDA are Three Param Vir Chakra recipients and 12 Ashoka Chakra recipients. NDA has produced 11 Chiefs of Army Staff, 10 Chiefs of Naval Staff and 4 Chiefs of Air Force Staff. The Three Present Chiefs of Staff of Indian Army, Navy and Airforce are all from the same course NDA and this the second time that all three Chiefs are from NDA. On 30 Nov 2019, the 137th Course Passed out. Colonel Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore who won a Shooting Silver Medal at 2004 Olympic Games is an NDA alumni.
A Three Rupee Stamp was issued on 19 Feb 1999 to commemorate 50 Years of NDA. A First Day Cover cancelled at 1 CBPO is listed. The stamp and FDC feature the main building of NDA known as Sudan Block in memory of Martyrs in Sudan during the East African Campaign.
Stamp on Marshal of The Indian Air Force Arjan Singh – India 2019.
India Post issued a Stamp on Marshal of The Indian Air Force Arjan Singh on 09 Oct 2019. Marshal of The Indian AirForce Arjan Singh DFC (15 Apr 1919-17 Sep 2017) was Chief of Air Force Staff from 1964-1969. He led Indian Air Force during 1965 War. in 1943 as acting Squadron Leader became Commanding officer of No 1 Squadron which took part in Arakan Campaign in Myanmar and he was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross.
He was promoted to the rank of Air Chief Marshal and became the First IAF Chief to hold this rank, awarded Padma Vibhusan in 1966 and promoted to the rank of Marshal of The Indian Air Force in 2002.
Siachen Glacier is located in Eastern Karakoram ranges in the Himalayas at an elevation of 5,753 metres. It is the longest glacier in the Karakoram and second-longest Glacier in non-polar areas. Siachen in Balti language means Land with an abundance of roses.
India issued a Rupees Five Commemorative stamp on Siachen Glacier 25 Oct 2019.
