First Day Covers India 2018 – ASEAN -INDIA Commemorative Summit.
The Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) comprises of Indonesia , Singapore , Philippines, Malaysia,Brunei Darussalam, Thailand, Cambodia ,Lao PDR ,Myanmar and Vietnam. India hosted the ASEAN -India Commemorative Summit 2018 in New Delhi.
A Set of 11 stamps and a Miniature sheet of 11 Stamps was issued on 25 Jan 2018.The stamps with a theme on each ASEAN country is depicted . A First Day Cover with Miniature sheet is listed.
Mozart in Netherlands 1765-66 – Stamps by Netherlands on 250 Years of Mozart’s Visit
Mozart and his family stayed in the Netherlands from September 1765 to April 1766. Invitated by Caroline, Princes of Nassau Weilburg, they travelled from France via England and Belgium to the Netherlands.
In the Hague Nannerl got ill first and later on also Wolfgang fell ill, suffering from typhus. At the request of the Princes both of them were treated by the royal doctor and luckily he was able to cure them both.
In the Netherlands concerts were given in the cities Utrecht, Amsterdam, Haarlem and The Hague and they also stayed in Moerdijk and Rotterdam.
While in the Netherland Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart composed no less than twelve musical works, including two symphonies, K.22 and K.45a/A221, and Galli Matthias Musicum, K.32.

Georg Friedrich Handel(1695-1759) was a German later British Baroque composer. Well known for his Operas,oratorios,anthems and organ concertos. One of his four coronation anthems Zadok The Priest (1727) composed for the coronation of George II has been performed at every susequent British Coronation.
Frederic Chopin (1810-1849) was a Polish composer and virtuoso Pianist of romantic era who wrote primarily for solo piano.
Joseph Haydn (1732-1809) was an Austrian Composer of classical period. He was instrumental in development of chamber music such as Piano trio which earned him the epithets “Father of Symphony” and “Father of String Quartet”.
Ludwig Van Beethoven -Stamps of Surinam on Beethoven
Ludwig Van Beethoven (Dec 1770-Mar 1827) was a German Composer and Pianist. A Leading and prominent figure in the transition between the Classical and Romantic eras in Classical Music he remains one of the most recognised and influential of all Composers.
His best known compositions include 9 Symphonies, 5 Piano Concertos, 1violin Concerto, 32 Piano Sonatas, 16 String Quaterets, one opera Fidelio and great Mass the Missa solemnis.
