A Rupees Three stamp was issued by India Post on 09 Apr 1999 to mark the Tercentenary of Birth of Khalsa. An FDC cancelled at 1 CBPO is listed. Guru Nanak Dev Ji founded Sikhism in 1469 and on Baisakhi Day of 1699 Guru Gobind Singh introduced Khalsa Identity in Anandpur Sahib on the banks of river Sutlej. The stamp features Anandpur Sahib and Kesgarh Sahib Gurudwara. It is also one of the Five Takhts of Sikhs.

The MS features stamps on Five Gurudwaras ( Religious Place for Sikhs) connected with Guru Nanak Dev Ji.

The miniature sheet features Takht Sri Harimandir Ji Patna Sahib in Patna where Guru Gobind Singh was born.
