Stamps of Bhutan 2018 – 50 Years of Diplomatic relations between Bhutan and India.
Bhutan issued stamps on 21 Feb 2018 to mark 50 Years of Diplomatic relations and friendship between Bhutan and India.
A Miniature sheet with Flags of Bhutan & India was also issued
The Miniature sheet with eight stamps depicts Flags of both countries and personalities of Both the countries like Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi, Nehru, Indira Gandhi.Presidents of India and King of Bhutan.
King of Bhutan & Sports – Post cards of Bhutan 2010
Bhutan Post marked the First Anniversary of Coronation of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk in 2010. A set of Post Cards were issued by Bhutan Post. Four Post Cards showing the King and his love for Sports are very interesting and are listed below. King is shown playing Football,Rugby,Darts and Archery (National Game of Bhutan).
Belgium issued set of Stamps and a miniature sheet on roses on 23 April 1988. A miniature with one stamp on White Sulphur rose was issued. The White Sulphur rose is a variety of tea rose. The sheet also shows Louise Marie Orleans (1822-1850) Queen of Belgium.
Thailand issued a stamp on 09 Feb 2015 on theme Symbol of Love and Valentine’s day. It was printed with perfumed ink and rose variety named “Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn” depicted to mark 60th Anniversary of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
Tashichho Dzong is a Buddhist monastery and fortress on the northern edge of the City of Thimpu in Bhutan on the western banks of Wang Chu river. It has been the seat of Bhutan’s Government since 1968 and presently houses the Throne room and offices of King, The Cabinet Secretariat and ministries of home affairs and finance. Other Government offices are housed in buildings south of Dzong.
A Stamp was issued on 29 Feb 1968 on Tashichho Dzong. A First Day cover is listed.
