USPS issued a set of Five 33 cents stamps on famous trains of Twentieth Century. The Strip of five stamps was issued on 26 Aug 1999.
33c – Daylight Express – It was called the “Most Beautiful Train in the World” and connected Los Angeles and San Francisco. In 1941 new GS-4 steam locomotives pulled the red, orange and black train along Pacific Ocean beaches.
33c – Congressional -The slogan for the Congressional’s route between New York and Washington was “Every Mile Electrified“. In 1935 the looks of GG-1 locomotive was improved.
33c – 20th Century Limited – It was called a “National Institution” and the “Most Famous Train in the World“.It catered to business travelers on in superfast 16-hour journey between Chicago & New York. In 1936 its J-3a steam locomotives and Pullman Cars were redesigned.
33c – Hiawatha – Running at 100 miles per hour and connecting Chicago, Milwaukee and twin cities it was known as “The Fastest train in America“.In 1938 its F-7 steam locomotives were designed in multiple colors.
33c – Super Chief – Prefferd train of Hollywoods elite travelling between Chicago and Los Angeles via Albuquerque the Super Chief was known as “Train of Stars” Its unique red and silver warbonnet design pulled luxurious stainless steel cars.
Stamps on 50th Anniversary of Lord of Rings – Great Britain 2004
J R R Tolkien’s trilogy “The Lord of Rings” was first published in 1954 and its 50th Anniversary was celebrated in 2004. Great Britain issued a set of ten stamps on 26 Feb 2004 to mark the 50th Anniversary of “Lord of Rings”.

The 12th Vintage and Classic Car Rally was held in Jaipur at Hotel Jaimahal Palace on 13 and 14 Feb 2010. A Special cover was released to mark the occasion. The Cover features Late Rajmata Gayatri Devi of Jaipur with her Rolls Royce. A total of 1000 covers were released. The cancellation shows Vintage Cars.
A Limited numberof Covers were carried in a Ruskin 1927 car from Hotel Jaimahal to GPO Jaipur. This car also featured in film Gandhi”.

He was born in Brooklyn USA in an Russian Jewish and Lithuanian Jewish ancestry family.Among his best known works are Orchestral compositions “Rhapsody in Blue” (1924), An American in Paris (1928),as well as contemporary Opera “Porgy & Bess” (1935)
Lev Davidovich Landau (1908-1968) – Soviet Physicist – He was born to Jewish Parents in Baku Azerbaijan. He was awarded the 1962 Nobel Prize in Physics for his mathematical theory of superfluidity that account for properties of Liquid Helium II.
Albert Einstein (1879-1955) -Physicist- Born in Ulm Germany to non observant Ashkenazi Jews.He was awarded the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics for his discovery of Law of Photoelectric effect.He developed the theory of relativity ,one of the two pillars of Modern Physics(alongside quantum mechanics).He is best known for world’s most famous equation – mass energy equivalence formula E = mc2
