New Zealand issued a set of stamps on Walking Trails on 08 Jun 1988.

70c – Milford – Hiking route located inside Fiordland National Park among the mountains and temperate rain forests in South Island.

80c- Heaphy – Hiking route located inside Kahurangi National Park in North West of South Island. It is 78.4 long trek. Maori tribes are known to have settled along lower course of Heaphy river.

85C -Copeland – The track was constructed in 1901-03 to provide a tourist route across the Southern Alps to the west coast. It is situated in Westland Tai Poutini National Park.

$1.30 – Routeburn- it is located in Fiordland National Park and links it to Mount Aspiring National Park. the highest point of the track is 1255 metres above sea level. This walking trail is along mountain peaks, huge valleys, waterfalls and lakes.
