Monte Carlo Car Rally is a Car Rally organised by Monaco Automobile Club. It was started in 1911 and won by Henri Rougier in a Turcat-Mery 25 hp. Monaco issued a stamp on 22 May 1986 to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of Monte-Carlo Car Rally. It features Henri Rougier & Turcat-Mery. 130,110 stamps were printed.
Argentina issued a miniature sheet with four stamps to mark the Espamer 91 Stamp exhibition – Spain & Latin American Philatelic exhibition. The Miniature sheet was issued on 04 May 1991. The theme of the sheet was Racing Drivers. The Car racing drivers featured on stamps are
Juan Manuel Fangio (1911-1995) was an Argentine racing car driver who was also nicknamed “The Master”. He dominated the first-decade formula 1 and won Five World Drivers Championship titles. He is the only Argentine to have won Argentina Grand Prix -he won it four times.
Juan Manuel Bordeau (1934-1990)- A protege of Juan Manuel Fangio, he was an Argentine racing driver. Due to an accident could not take part in Formula 1 Racing.
Carlos Alberto Reutemann (born 1942) – He is a former Formula 1 racing driver from Argentina. He won 12 Formula 1 Grand Prix races between 1972 and 1982 with six Poles. Now a Politician.
Oscar & Juan Galvez- Argentine racing car drivers and brothers on whose names the Buenos Aires Motor racing Circuit is named.
A set of Four stamps on Motor sports in Isle of Man was issued on 10 Feb 1988. The first motor sport trials were held in 1904 in Isle of Man.1988 marks the 25th anniversary of Manx International Rally.

13p – Vauxhall Opel & Russel Brookes – The first Manx Rally was held in 1963. Russel Brookes of Britain won Manx rally in 1979 & 1985.
26p – Ford Escort & Ari Vatanen – Manx Rally gained international status and in 1976 ace Finnish Driver Ari Vatanen won the Manx rally and he later went on to become World Champion.
31p – Repco March 761 & Terry Smith – The hill Climb race on TT course is an annual event since 1973. Terry Smith from Avon set a record of 61.35 seconds in 1980 features on the stamp.
34p –Williams Honda & Nigel Mansell – Nigel Mansell British Formula I driver made Isle of Man his second home. He won the 1985 and 1987 British Formula I Grand Prix with the Williams Honda team and nine Grand Prix wins and Constructors Championships for Williams Honda in 1986 was highlight of Mansell’s career.
International Motor Show Germany – Special Cover 1981.
The International Motor Show Germany or International Motor Show known in German as Internationale Automobil Ausstellung (IAA- International Automobile Exhibition) is the World’s largest Motor show. It is held annually with Passenger vehicles including some motorcycles being displayed in odd numbered years in Frankfurt am main and commercial vehicles in even numbered years in Hanover.Till 1991 it was held only in Frankfurt. The First show was held in Bristol Hotel Berlin in 1897 with eight motor vehicles on display. It is organised by VDA(Association of German Automotive Industry)
A Special cover was released on 17 Sep 1981 for the 1981 edition of Motor show. A Berlin miniature sheet of 1971 issued to mark 50th Anniversary Avus Car race has been used for the special cover.The cover also shows Flags of some participating countries.
