Kim Clijsters ( born 8 June 1983) is a former Belgian Tennis player who has won four Grand Slam Singles titles – three US Open titles and the Australian Open in 2011. She was runner-up at the Australian Open in 2004. She also won French and Wimbledon Women’s Doubles titles and was a finalist at Wimbledon Mixed Doubles in 2000. In 2009 She became the First Mother to win a Major (US Open) since Evonne Goolagong in 1980. In 2017 She was inducted into International Tennis Hall of Fame.

The Dubai Tennis Championships is a professional tennis tournament owned and organised by Dubai Duty-Free and held annually in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, on outdoor hardcourts.
The Dubai Tennis Championships debuted at the Aviation Club as an ATP 250 tournament. In 2001 the ATP upgraded the tournament from 250 level to 500 level tournament. At the 2019 Dubai Tennis Championships, Federer will aim to win his 100th career title and 8th in Dubai. He has defeated German Philipp Kohlschreiber 6-4, 3-6, 6-1 in the first round, and will face Fernando Verdasco next.
