World Post Day is celebrated on 09 Oct every year on Anniversary of UPU which started in 1874. The First World Post Day was celebrated on 09 Oct 1969. The United Arab Emirates issued two stamps to mark World Post Day in 2010.
Miniature Sheet on 75th Anniversary UPU – Philippines 1949
Philippines issued a miniature sheet on 09 Oct 1949 (World Post Day) to commemorate 75 years of UPU. The Imperforate Miniature sheet with three stamps features the Monument of UPU in Berne Switzerland.
Miniature Sheet of Bangladesh 1999 – 125th Anniversary of UPU
Bangladesh issued a miniature sheet of Four stamps to commemorate 125th Anniversary of UPU. The Miniature sheet was issued on 09 Oct 1999 (World Post Day). It features UPU emblem, A Dak runner, Postal Transport like Postal Van, Motorcycle, MailBoat, Airmail, Railway Mail and Sea Mail.
China hosted the 22nd UPU Congress in Beijing in 1999. It issued a Miniature sheet containing eight stamps on Huangshan mountain on 20 Oct 1997. Each stamp was of 200 Chinese renminbi.
Huangshan is a mountain range in southern Anhui province in eastern China. It is UNESCO World Heritage site and one of China’s main tourist destinations. It was namedHuangshan Mountain (Yellow Mountain) in 747 AD by Imperial order of Tang Dynasty.

140th Anniversary of UPU -Souvenir Sheet Kyrgyzstan 2014
UPU celebrated 140th Anniversary in 2014. Kyrgyzstan issued a Souvenir sheet cum Miniature sheet on 18 Nov 2014 containing one stamp of 700 Kyrgyzstani Som. The miniature sheet features letters, UPU emblem, Peace Doves.
There are eight labels around the Stamp written in eight languages and a statement “Kyrgyz Express Post – second designated postal operator of Kyrgyzstan. UPU IB circular 83 of 21 May 2013”.
