In 2017 India Post brought out 12 beautiful stamps to reflect the glory and magnificence of Indian Cultural & Heritage. All stamps were issued in Rs 25 denomination. These stamps were New Year Greeting Stamps. The First Day Covers, Brochure and Presentation Pack is listed.

Ganesh Pol – It is a strategically important entry for the Amber Fort near Jaipur in Amer. It is a fusion of Mughal and Rajput Architecture.
Pashmina -It is the highest grade Cashmere Wool.the stamp features a handspun Pashmina shawl woven in Kashmir with exquisite embroidery.
Chhau Mask -Chhau is a major classical Indian Dance mainly performed during festivals in the Indian States of Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha. It is found in three styles -Purulia Chhau in West Bengal, Seraikella Chhau of Jharkhand & Mayurbhanj Chhau of Odisha. The Purulia and Seraikella Chhau use masks. Each mask represents a character of the epic.
Bodhi tree – It is sandstone relief structure in Sanchi Stupa complex of Madhya Pradesh state in India. Buddha attained enlightenment under this tree.
Sarota – It is a scissor-like cutter made of metal & traditionally used to cut Areca nut into small pieces. Sarota is a beautiful Object d’art.
Peacock Gate One of the four inner courtyard gates of Chandra Mahal in City Palace Jaipur in Rajasthan. It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu.
Chaitya Hall -These beautiful columns dating back to Ist Century BC are covered in carvings depicting life and work of Buddha. It is located in Karle, Maharashtra and is among the largest rock-cut Chaityas in India.
Thanjavur Paintings – These are panel paintings done on wooden planks with vibrant colours and embellishments of Gems, glass pieces and precious stones with gold foiling add to their appeal. They are from Thanjavur in Tamil Nadu.
Blue Pottery – Traditional Craft of Jaipur. It is named so due to predominant use of blue glaze painting technique.
Stained Glass – It shows the stained glass work of 16th Century at Bagore-Ki – Haveli in Udaipur Rajasthan.
Peitra Dura – It is a decorative art form which involved inlay technique of using cut and fitted polished precious stones to create images. It is a Persian art form and stamp features a table top in Peitra Dura on black marble.
Zardozi – The Zardozi carpets from Agra in UP involves Zardozi embroidery which is metal embroidery using gold and silver threads and studded with pearls and precious stones.
India Post released a variety of Items on these stamps. A Mixed sheetlet in a presentation pack is listed.
India Post issued a miniature sheet with five stamps on Handlooms of India on 07 Aug 2018. The stamps feature Geographical Indication (GI) registered Handicraft Products. A GI is a name or sign used on certain products which correspond to a specific geographical location or origin (i.e town, region or country).
India -Armenia Joint Issue – Folk Dances – Aug 2018
India and Armenia issued a set of Two stamps and a Miniature sheet on Folk Dances on 29 Aug 2018. This was a Joint Issue between the Two Countries. India and Armenia established Diplomatic relations in Dec 1991 but cultural and traditional ties date back to 326 BC.
The stamps feature “Hov Arek ” dance of Armenia on Rs 5 stamp and Manipuri Dance on Rs 25 stamp. An FDC with stamps from India is listed.
Sri Lanka Wonder of Asia – Stamps on World Tourism Day 2011
Sri Lanka Post issued a set of 10 stamps on 27 Sep 2011 to mark World Tourism Day. Different themes were featured on each of the stamps capturing the enchanting beauty of this Island nation.

Rocks 200 metres high exist here
