Switzerland issued a 500 ct stamp using Wood on 07 Sep 2004. This was another unique stamp from Swiss Post after the Chocolate and Embroidery stamps. The wood used for the stamps from high quality 120 years old timber grown in Seon and Staufen, each tree’s diameter is 70-80 cm and each tree is unique and so is each stamp with a thickness of 0.7mm. The Print quantity is 1,100,000 and is printed by Sericora Koniz Suisse with a size of 50×40 mm.

3D Lenticular Golf Stamps -Ryder Cup Tournament 2006- 3D Stamps of Ireland
Ryder Cup is a Biennial Men’s Golf Competition between teams from Europe and USA. The competition is held every two years with venues alternating between courses in USA and Europe.
The 2006 edition was played in Ireland at Palmer Course of the K Club in Straffan, County Kildare West of Dublin. This was the first time the event was held in Ireland. The 36th Ryder Cup (2006) was played from 22-24 Sep 2006. Europe won the event.

Our City in Garden – Seeds in Stamps – Stamps of Singapore 2013.
Singapore issued a set of four stamps on theme Our City in a Garden on 13 July 2013. A unique miniature sheet was also issued containing four stamps (two each of Ist Local and 50c stamps).
Stamps with seeds to grow flowers– A Collaboration between National Parks Board and Singapore Post results in the issue of a special bio-degradable stamp which can grow as a flower. The First Local stamp in the miniature sheet comes with a moss-rose seed stickered on its front. One needs to soak the stamp in water for a day and then it can be sowed in the soil for it to bloom like a flower. A unique way to teach children the importance of plants, flowers and biodiversity.
