Bangladesh issued a miniature sheet of four stamps on Flowers on 04 Aug 2014. All are 10 Taka stamps. It was released to mark the Phiakorea 2014 exhibition. The flowers featured are
10 Taka-Dendrobium aphyllum – Hooded orchid.
10 Taka – Rhyncostylis retusa – Foxtail Orchid .it is an exotic orchid.
10 Taka -Nymphaea nouchali- Blue Lotus or star lotus.National flower of Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
10 Taka- Ochna obtusata- Ramdhan Champa .Found in East India

Venda issued a set of four stamps on Food from the Veld on 02 Oct 1987. These were Fruits Southern Africa. A First Day Cover with stamps is listed.
12c -Mimusops zeyheri – Milkwood or Transvaal red milkwood. The ripe yellow fruits are sweet and edible. Wood is used for making wagons.
25c- Ziziphus mucronata– Also known as Buffalo thorn. Leaves used like spinach, seeds can be roasted and used as a substitute for coffee, the fruit is used for making local beer.
30c – Citrullus lanatus – Citrus fruits from the watermelon and melon family.
50c – Berchemia discolor– Fruit is edible,used to make beer and has medicinal value.
