Australia issued a set of Seven Pre-Stamped envelopes on 28 Sep 1988 on Historic Homesteads. All are 39c envelopes. PSE serial nos 150-156.
Werribee Park: Werribee Victoria– One of Australia’s grandest houses, WerribeePark was built between 1874 & 1877 for the wealthy Victorian pastoral family, Chirnsides. It is known for its freestone exterior. An earlier bluestone homestead built in1864 remains behind the mansion. Today it has an Equestrian Centre, Victoria State Rose Garden, Open range zoo etc
The 117th IOC Session was held in Singapore from 6-9 July 2005. Up to 5000 officials, media people came to Singapore to witness five of the world’s most glamorous and vibrant cities – Paris, New York, Moscow, London and Madrid-contend for the privilege to host 2012 Summer Olympics. The destiny and Olympic Programmes of each of 28 Olympic Sports was also on the agenda.
London won the right to host the 2012 Summer Olympics.
The 2012 Summer Olympics or XXX Olympics were held in London from 27 July to 12 Aug 2012. A total of 10,768 athletes from 204 Nations participated in 26 Sports, 39 Disciplines and 302 events. The USA topped the medals tally with 46 Gold Medals

Stamps of Russia on 2008 Beijing Olympics –Russia 2008
The 2008 Summer Olympics or XXIX Olympics were held in Beijing China from 08 to 24 Aug 2008. Russia issued a Se-tenant strip of three stamps on 15 Apr 2008 to commemorate the Olympics. A total of 10,942 athletes from 204 Nations participated in 28 Sports, 41 Disciplines and 302 events. President Hu Jintao of China inaugurated the Games. China topped the medals tally with 48 Gold Medals.
The FDC with three Se-tenant stamp strip is listed. The stamps and Cancellation feature Olympic Flame and various sports.
The 1956 Summer Olympics or XVI Olympics were held in Melbourne Australia from 22 Nov to 08 Dec 1956. Hungary issued a set of Four stamps on 25 Sep 1956 to commemorate the Olympics. A total of 3,314 athletes from72 Nations participated in 17 Sports, 23 Disciplines and 151 events. The Duke Edinburgh inaugurated the Games. The Soviet Union topped the medals tally with 37 Gold Medals.
The 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympic Games will be held from 24 July to 09 August 2020 in Tokyo
These will be the Games of XXXII Olympiad.
206 nations are expected to take part in 339 events in 33 sports.
Over 11,000 athletes are expected to arrive at. various venues.
National Stadium in Tokyo will host the Opening Ceremony.

New Zealand issued a set of 10 Stamps on Rio 2016 Olympics on 06 Jul 2016. All stamps are $1 stamps. The theme is Road to Rio.
The Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) or West Germany issued a set of Five stamps on 06 Jun 1968 to commemorate 1968 Mexico Summer Olympics.These Stamps featured Sports Personalities and Administrators connected with the Olympic movement.
10+5 Pf – Carl Friedrich Freiherr Von Langen (1887-1934). A German Horse Rider who won the Individual Dressage Event in Equestrian with his horse Draufganger at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympics
20+10 Pf – Rudolf Harbig (1913-1944). A German middle-distance runner who competed in 800 metres but did not win any medal, but won a Bronze medal in 4x400m relay tea with the German team. Joined the Nazi army and fought for Nazi Germans in the Battle of Moscow in 1941.
30 Pf – Baron Pierre de Coubertin (1862-1937). Founder of the International Olympic Committee and its second President. He is the father of modern Olympic Games.
30+15 Pf – Helen Mayer (1910-1953) was a German-born fencer who won Gold Medal at 1928 Amsterdam Olympics and a Silver Medal at 1936 Berlin Olympics. She was a Jewish and was forced to move out of Germany in 1933 and yet returned to Germany to compete in Women’s Individual Foil as a Jewish. She was the only athlete of Jewish origin to win a Medal for Germany.
50+25 Pf – Carl Diem (1882-1962)– Sports Organizer and Teacher. As the Secretary-General of the Organising Committee of the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games, he is known as the Chief Organiser of 1936 Berlin Summer Olympics. He is also credited with the tradition of starting the Olympic Torch Relay from the 1936 Berlin Olympics. After the War, he became associated with Berlin University Physical Education Department. Due to his relations with the German Government from 1939-1945 was always a controversial figure.
A 13c Postcard issued on 1980 Olympics featuring a Runner Carrying Olympic Torch. It was issued on 30 Apr 1984. It also features a cancellation on Pentathlon station Irvine California 31 Jul 1984. Irvine hosted Modern Pentathlon events during the 1984 Olympics.
