Koala – Pre stamped Envelopes -Australia 1980

Australia issued a set of Seven Pre stamped envelopes on Animals on 30 Apr 1980.

Koala – The Koala can be found in some areas of Queensland,New South wales ,Victoria and South Australia.It lives mainly on eucalyptus tress and the adult koala eats up to one kilogram of gum leaves per day. In early years Koala was hunted to near extinction but it is now widely protected.
