Dedication of INS Chennai to Chennai City -2017
INS Chennai was launched on 02 Apr 2010 and commissioned in Indian Navy on 21 Nov 2016. it is the first Naval ship to be named after Chennai.
A Special Cover was released 17 Apr 2017 to commemorate the dedication of the ship to Chennai City.
