The Dhaka -Kolkata Bus Service was started in 1999. The 380 Km journey (80 Kms in India and 300 kms in Bangladesh) takes about 12 hours and 30 mins.
A Special Cover was issued by Bangladesh on 06 Apr 1999 to commemorate this historic event.
