First Definitive Stamps of Zimbabwe -1980
On 18th Apr 1980 Zimbabwe issued the First Definitives . It was a set of 15 stamps on Gems. Animals and Waterfalls. Five stamps were issued on each theme.
Gems- 1,3,4,5,7 Cents
1c- Morganite , 3c – Amethyst , 4c – Garnet , 5c – Citrine , 7c – Blue Topaz.
Animals – 9,11,13,15,17 Cents
9c- Black Rhinoceros , 11c – Lion, 13c- Warthog , 15c – Giraffe , 17c – Zebra
Waterfalls – 21, 25, 30, $1, $2
21c – Odzani Falls ,25c – Goba Falls , 30c- Inyangoombe falls ,$1 – Bridal Veil Falls , $2 -Victoria Falls.
