Norwegian Folk Museum – Stamps of Norway 1994
Norsk Folkemuseum was established in 1894 by librarian and historian Hans Aall (1867-1946). Norsk Folkemuseum (Norwegian Museum of Cultural History) at Bygdoy,Oslo,Norway is a museum of Cultural History with extensive collection of artifacts from all social groups and all regions of the country. It is one of the World’s largest Open air museum with more than 150 buildings relocated.
Norway issued a set of two stamps to mark the 100th anniversary of Norwegian Folk Museum on 14 Jun 1994 . The two stamps feature Farmhouses and a sledge. A FDC is listed.
