Music Terms on Stamps -Liechtenstein 2007

Liechtenstein issued a beautiful and attractive set of Four stamps on a unique theme – Music Terms. Four terms related to Music were featured on the stamps issued on 05 Mar 2007.

85 ct – Allergo -There are many Italian musical terms that describe or direct the tempo or speed of Music and “Allergo” is one of them. It means Cheerful or Gay in Italian derived from Latin meaning  “lively”, “Cheerful” or “Brisk”.

1.80 Fr – Capriccio -A Light, free,lively & humourous piece of Music.The typical Capriccio is fast,intense and virtuosic in nature.

2.00 Fr – Crescendo – A crescendo is a way for composers to indicate that a passage of music should gradually increase in loudness over time.

3.50 Fr- Con Fuoco- A musical directive to the performer to play a particular passage with vehement energy or fervid motion .with fire,in a fiery manner.
