USSR issued a set of Four stamps on Soviet Cartoon Films on 18 Feb 1988. The stamps featured Soviet Cartoon Films and characters which became very popular at that time in Soviet Union and East European countries.

5k -Nu Pogodi- Well ,Just you Wait ! is a Soviet/Russian animated series produced by Soyuzmultifim. The series made its debut in 1969 and latest episode was produced in 2006. The series follows the comical adventures of a mischievous Wolf (BONK ) who tries to catch and eat a hare Zayats. The series most common lone is the titular “Nu Pogodi” meaning “Well,Just You Wait” which is recited by Wolf whenever his plans fail.At the end of the episode the Wolf usually exclaims ” Nu Zayats……Nu Pogodi” meaning “Well Hare ….Well.Just You Wait”.
