Nepal was part of RI District 3290 till 1958.Rotary movement started in Nepal in 1958 .Rotary Club of Kathmandu was inaugurated by King Of Nepal on 20 Nov 1958. Rotary Club of Kathmandu was admitted into Rotary International on 13 April 1959.It was the first Rotary Club in Nepal. It was designated as RI District 3292.
A commemorative cover was issued on 01 Jul 2008 to mark 50 Years of Rotary Club of Kathmandu (RI Dist 3292).
A Postcard with Special cancellation on RI District 3292 was also released on 01 Jul 2008.
