Stamps on Tricycles & Rickshaws – Thailand 1997.
Thailand celebrated International Writing Week from 5-11 Oct 1997.The theme for a stamp design competition was Tricycles and Cycle Rickshaws. Four stamps were issued on this theme based on award winning designs. Cycle Rickshaws in various forms are popular and very common mode of transport in all South Asian Countries where busy market places and narrow streets do not permit other types of vehicles.
The tricycles featured on stamps are

9.00 Baht – Motorcycle rickshaw 9.00 Baht – Tuk Tuk
