The Yuan Dynasty Painter Liu Kuan-tao was a Skilled painter of Lanscapes,Portraits , Flowers , Birds & Animals. A Painting of Emperor Shih-tzu of  Yuan Dynasty (also Known as Kublai Khan) on a hunting expedition was the subject of stamps on Ancient Chinese Painting “Drawing of Hunting of Emperor Shih-tzu,Yuan Dynasty”. Kublai Khan was grandson of Chengis Khan.

This Painting is set amid a vast sea of sand which shows Kublai Khan leading entourage on horse back to hunt in the wilderness.The drawings of dogs,horses and camels arevery true to life.Kublai Khan dressed inred and awhite fur overcoat is centre figure of painting.But the horseman who is drawing his bow to shoot a wild geese on the left is the focus of the whole painting.The eyes of all the figures in the painting are fixed on him in anticipation of the arrow leaving the bow.
