1000th Post on stampdigest

Today is a red letter day in the history of stampdigest. From a small beginning we posted our 1000th Post on stamp digest. Our endeavour has been to provide information and material on maximum topics on thematics Philately. Over a period of one year we have covered a host of topics and based on responses from our readers we have posted the articles.

The articles are just not limited to details of the stamp -which possibly is available on many sites – but to provide maximum information on a particular stamp.It is a time consuming and research oriented effort for which i am indebted to my research team.

While we have touched a large number of topics but there may be still many topics which have not been listed . We shall try and list Philatelic material on such topics as well ,based on our worthy readers feedbacks. Postal Stationery, Fiscals,Postage Due,ATM stamps, Cancellations,Indian States, Errors ,Philatelic literature are some topics on our horizon which we shall cover in near future.

I list items which i have seen myself or have seen in possession of some Philatelic Friends ,Dealers etc. I seldom list any unverified Philatelic item . I also try to avoid listing new issues till such time enough information is available and postally used items reach collectors ,dealers and Philatelists- re listing Postal administration literature deprives the Fun of Philatelic research.

Last but not the least I must thank all my worthy readers for their valuable and continuous support,patronage ,suggestions,encouragement which has posed a challenge to me to look for new stories ,new topics and new material. We seek your blessings and patronage to continue this project of providing Philatelic knowledge.
