Traditional Dances on Indonesia Stamps -1995
Indonesia issued a set of Four stamps on Traditional Dances on 27 Dec 1995.
Rp 150 – Nguri Dance from West Nusa Tenggara.It is a traditional ceremonial welcoming dance.
Rp 300 – Muli Betanggai Dance from Lampung. It was originally performed at the Gawi event of Lampung community. Now a spectacle or performance dance at major events.

Rp 700 – Mutiara Dance from Maluku. It is a dance which portrays the natural wealth of Maluku -the Pearls. The dancers use pearl producing shells.
Rp 1000- Gantar Dance from East Kalimantan. This dance tells about the joy of Dayak tribe while planting rice. The dancers use a long stick and a small piece of Bamboo (Gantar) to perform this dance. Stick to dig a hole in ground and bamboo containing seeds to be planted.
