Slovenia stamps on Traditional Costumes
Slovenia has been issuing stamps on Traditional costumes every year on different regions.We are listing a few of them.
30 Jan 2009 – National Costume from Bela Krajina. This region lies in the far south-east of Slovenia, along the river Kolpa and bordering Croatia. It is famous for white birches and white national costumes. It is Pannonian type costumes.
29 Jan 2010 – Costumes of Prekmurje region. It is the northernmost corner of Slovenia lies along river Mura. The Costumes of this region are Pannonian type -white linen fabric.
