First Day Cover Pakistan – Restoration of Murree GPO
Murree is a hill station of Pakistan located in Rawalpindi district at an elevation of 2291m. The Murree GPO was built by British in 1867 and is located at The Mall. Post-1970 it was renovated in the name of modernisation. In 2014 it was decided to restore it to 1910 heritage form. A stamp was issued to mark this on 04 Nov 2015. A FDC is listed.
