Aharon Kahana Paintings on Stamps – Israel 1972
Aharon Kahana (1905-1967) was a European Jewish Painter who came from Stuttgart Germany and settled in Jerusalem in 1934. He studied Ceramics at Stuttgart & Berlin. He was the founder of New Horizons art movement in Israel.
A Stamp was issued by Israel on 07 Mar 1972 in his honour and it featured a painting of Resurrection (1955-56) by Aharon Kahana.
