Stamps Cards of Bhutan 1994 – Taktshang Monastery
Bhutan issued a stamp card containing Six Imperf Miniature sheets of 16 Nu each on 15 Aug 1994. These were Airmail stamps and featured the Taktshang Monastery.
Taktshang Monastery also known as Tiger Nest Monastery is located in Paro Bhutan. It evolved in 787 AD based on a legend of Tiger’s Lair. It is one the most important Buddhist Monuments in the World.
