11th Inter School StateLevel Stamp Exhibition was held in Jaipur from 14 to 16 Sep 2006. A Special Cover on Rajbhasa Diwas (National Language Day) was issued on 14 Sep 2006 at Jaipur.
The Constituent Assembly of India adopted Hindi as Rajbhasa on 14 Sep 1949. The Cover design depicts Hindi Book with Mahatma Gandhi and his quote in the Hindi Language.
The Special Cancellation depicts Hindi letter “OM” and slogan “Learn Hindi- Write Hindi”. We are celebrating the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
