Legends of Sinhala Cinema – Miniature Sheet Sri Lanka 2012
A Miniature Sheet with six stamps was released by Sri Lanka on Legends of Sinhala Cinema on 21 Jan 2012. It also marked the 65th Anniversary of Sinhala Cinema.
Perforated and Imperf Miniature sheets were issued.

SL Rupees 5.00 – Eddy Jayamanna (1915-1981).Sri Lankan Comedian
SL Rupees 5.00 – Sandhya Kumari (1945- 1994).Actress
SL Rupees 5.00 -Titus Thotawatta ( 1927-2011). Director & Editor. Sinhala Children’s Programme.
SL Rupees 10.00 – Joe Abeywickrama (1927-2011).Comic actor who won 18 Sarasavi awards.
SL Rupees 15.00 – Malini Fonseka ( b 1947).Actress.Known as Queen of Sinhalese Cinema. She is the Winner of many Sarasaviya awards and won an award at Delhi Film Festival in 1977.
SL Rupees 20.00 – Gamini Fonseka ( 1936-2004).Actor,Director & Politician.He was regarded as King of Sri Lanka Cinema.
