Shakespeare Festival -Stamps of Great Britain 1964
Great Britain issued a set of Five stamps on Shakespeare Festival on 23 Apr 1964. It also marked the 400th Birth Anniversary of William Shakespeare. The plays featured on stamps are
3d- Puck & Bottom in A Midsummer Night’s Dream
6d – Feste in Twelfth Night.
1’3 sh – Balcony Scene in Romeo & Juliet.
1’6 sh- “Eve of Agincourt” in Henry V
2’6 sh – Hamlet contemplating Yorick’s Skull.
