John Lennon (9 Oct 1940 -08 Dec 1980) was an English writer, songwriter,peace-activist who co-founded the Beatles Band with Sir Paul McCartney, George Harrison & Ringo Starr. He married Yoko Ono in Gibraltar on 20 Mar 1969.
Gibraltar issued a set of two Miniature sheets on 20 Mar 1999 to mark their 30th Wedding Anniversary.
