Swiss Post issued a set of Nine stamps on Historic Monuments of Switzerland on 12 Sep 1968. The Monuments featured on stamps are

5 ct – Lenzburg Castle

10 ct – Freuler -Palace, Nafels. It is the most famous building in the canton of Glarus and houses the Glarus regional museum.

15 ct – St Mauritius Church, Appenzell

20 ct –  Planta House, Samedan.It houses a museum on home decor.

30 ct – Village Square Houses, Gais

50 ct – Castle and Abbey Church, Neuchatel.
