Arts & Happiness – Bhutan Miniature Sheet 2013.
Lama Drukpa Kunley (1455-1529) was a Buddhist Monk and missionary in the Tibetan Mahamudra tradition. He is known to have introduced Buddhism to Bhutan and established the monastery of Chimi Lhakhang in 1499. He was a famous Poet also and is also known as “Fertility Saint”.
Bhutan issued a miniature sheet containing four stamps of 20 Nu each in May 2013 on Arts and Happiness Series.
