Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster April 1986 – Stamps of Bhutan 1997.
The Chernobyl Nuclear Disaster took place on 25-26 April 1986 in Northern Soviet Ukraine. Bhutan issued a stamp on 02 May 1997 to mark the 11th Anniversary of the disaster and a reminder of dangers of Nuclear. The stamp features a boy and logo of UNESCO. A sheet containing ten stamps is listed.
Stamp caption says “A decade later 1986-1996” but the stamp was issued in 1997 ???
