The Channel Islands of Jersey is divided into twelve administrative districts or Parishes. All Parishes have a coastline and share a name with ancient Parish churches. Jersey issued a set of 13 Stamps on Parishes of Jersey on 29 Jan 1976. Maxim Cards are listed.
St Helier St Saviour St Clement St Martin Grouville.
St Helier– It has a Population of 33522 (2011 Census).Nations Capital.The two axes the beheading by Saxon Pirates of St Helier, Patron Saint of Jersey in 555 AD.9p stamp features St Helier Parish.

St Saviour – It has a Population of 13,580 (2011 Census).The Parish Church St Sauveur de L’Epine was dedicated to Jesus Christ. Hence the crown and nails of the crucifixion though Epine means thorn and may suggest a relic of the crown of thorns. 8p stamp features St Saviour Parish.

St Clement-It has a Population of 9221 (2011 Census). St Clement is the Patron saint of Blacksmiths and anchor smiths. Legend says he was martyred by being attached to an anchor and thrown into the Black sea.
