Lighthouses of Australia on Stamps – 2002.
Australia issued two 49 cents stamps on Lighthouses on 12 Mar 2002.
49c- Cape Naturaliste. It was activated in 1904 and is located south-west of Western Australia.it is a 20-metre high cylindrical tower that still uses the original Fresnel Lens made by Chance brothers.
49c- Troubridge Island- it was commissioned in 1856 and decommissioned in 2001. It is located in South Australia on Troubridge island in Gulf St Vincent.
