Victor Hugo exile in Guernsey – Stamps – -1975

Victor Hugo was a French author, Poet and Dramatist . He was a fierce opponent of Napoleon III and was banished from France, Belgium and Jersey before he found refuge in Guernsey from  1855 to 1870. He authored works during his exile. A Souvenir sheet is listed.
