University of Iceland – Imperf Miniature Sheet Iceland 1961.
Iceland issued an Imperforate miniature sheet on 06 Oct 1961 to mark 50th Anniversary of University of Iceland. The sheet contains three stamps.
1 Kr – Benedikt Sveinsson (1877-1954) – Politician, Editor, Librarian and Banker.
1.40 Kr- Bjorn M Oslen ( 1850-1919) – Scholar and Politician. He was the First rector of the University of Iceland and a Professor of Icelandic Language and Culture there.
10 Kr – University – The University Building at Haskoli Islands.
