2019 ICC Cricket World Cup – 03 Days to go – Stamps on 2011 World Cup.
The 10th World Cup was held in India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka from 19 February to 02 April 2011. India beat Sri Lanka in the finals at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai to win the World Cup. It was the first time that two Asian nations reached the Final and first time since 1992 that Australia did not reach the final.
Sachin Tendulkar was a member of this team and it was his first World Cup Win. Yuvraj Singh was declared Man of the tournament.

Dominica issued a miniature sheet showing the hosts on a Map of Indian Sub-Continent and the World Cup Trophy on a Five Dollar Dominica Stamp. The Flags of all countries also feature on the Miniature Sheet.

Guyana issued a miniature sheet showing the hosts on a Map of Indian Sub-Continent and the World Cup Trophy on a Three Dollar Guyana Stamp. The Flags of all countries also feature on the Miniature Sheet.

Bangladesh also issued a miniature sheet and four stamps on 23 February 2011 featuring a Bowler, Batsman, Wicket-keeper and a Fielder.


Nepal issued a special limited edition commemorative cover on 02 April 2011 to commemorate the 2011 Cricket World Cup.
