ATM Labels Australia – Definitive Issue -1984

ATM labels of Australia featuring the definitive issue were issued on 22 Feb 1984.  This is the First ATM Label/Stamp of Australia issued to mark the introduction of Vending Machine Postage Labels. A First Day cover with a 00.30 cents ATM label postmarked Canberra ACT is listed. The four digit code 2601 on the ATM represents the Canberra ACT  main state office. The design on the label is known as the “Barred Edge” issue.
