Maquis resistance – Stamps of France 1994
The Maquis were rural guerilla bands of French resistance fighters called maquisards during the Nazi occupation of France in World War II. France issued a stamp to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Maquis resistance on 09 Apr 1994.
