Upper Middle Rhine Valley-  The 65 Km stretch of Middle Rhine valley with its castles, historic towns, landscapes and vineyards is UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  • Transport route between North and South of the Continent.
  • Steep valley sides serve as vineyards.
  • The landscape has 40 hilltop castles some of which are almost 1000 years old.
  • It is one of the great rivers of the World

Germany issued a stamp on Upper Middle Rhine Valley on 04 May 2006. It is also known as Oberes Mittelrheintal. Two different FDC are listed.
