Stamps on Brooklyn Bridge New York – Germany 2006
Germany issued a 145 euro cent stamps on Johann August Robling (1806-1869) to mark his 200th Birth Anniversary. He had designed the Brooklyn Bridge in New York which was opened on 24 May 1883.
Brooklyn Bridge connects Manhattan and Brooklyn over East River. It is a cable-stayed suspension hybrid bridge and its total length is 6016 ft
First Day Cover cancelled at Berlin is listed. Cancellation features Johann August Robling.
