Guernsey issued a set of stamps on Joshua Gosselin Flora Sarniensis on 15 Nov 1988. Joshua Gosselin (1739-1812) was a natural historian and a fine herbarium. Based on his works the earliest flora of Guernsey has been compiled as a historical ecology. Stamps on Flowers were issued.
